Twenty four miles of 15 million year old shoreline cliffs that reveal the remains of prehistoric sharks, whales, rays and birds the size of small airplanes. In the early 1900’s, the Chesapeake Beach Railway connected D.C to the grand hotels, beaches and boardwalk of the resort town of Chesapeake Beach. The railway is now a trail above a creek and marshlands surrounding it. Museum, depot, rail car, bald eagle, bird watching, water park.
